Commercial Landscape Enhancements in the Bay Area
Improve what needs attention and keep what works. Targeted planting renovations, water-efficient upgrades and site improvements that make your existing landscape look better and cost less to care for, without starting over.
What Enhancements Accomplish
Solve the Problem, Not Just the Planting
A good enhancement fixes something you can name: a tired entrance, struggling plants, a high water bill or a bed that needs constant work.
Stronger Curb Appeal
Refreshed entries and beds with a consistent look across the property, so tenants, employees and visitors see a place that is cared for.
Healthier Plants
Declining plants replaced with species that fit the site's sun, soil and space, so you stop paying for the same replacements.
Lower Water Use
Spray converted to drip where it fits, and thirsty planting replaced, so irrigation matches what plants actually need.
Easier Upkeep
Overcrowded, weed-prone and high-pruning beds redesigned, so the landscape takes less work to keep looking right.

Our Approach
Enhancements That Work With the Landscape
An enhancement should not be judged on installation day. We plan for how it will look and perform years later.
Assess
Plant health, irrigation, soil, drainage, maintenance history and how the area is used.
Identify
What to renovate, what to keep and what is causing recurring problems.
Plan
A written scope, price and schedule, phased if that fits your budget.
Install
Planting, bed preparation, mulch and irrigation changes, with a clean, safe site.
Maintain
A final walkthrough, then care that helps new planting establish.

Enhancements and Maintenance
Enhancements Improve the Landscape, Maintenance Protects the Investment
Because our crews maintain Bay Area properties year-round, we often spot the problem before you do: a bed that keeps failing, a zone that overwaters, a planting that has outgrown its space. Your account manager turns those observations into a targeted proposal, and our maintenance team cares for the new planting after it goes in.
A maintenance contract is not required. We complete enhancement projects for any commercial or public property.

Questions
Landscape Enhancements FAQ
Do I Need a Maintenance Contract to Hire Rubicon for Enhancements?
No. We complete enhancement projects for any commercial or public property. Many clients add maintenance afterward so new plantings establish well, but it is not required.
Do You Keep Existing Plants?
Yes, when they are healthy and suited to the site. We evaluate what is already there before recommending removal, which saves replacement cost and green waste.
Can a Large Property Be Improved in Phases?
Yes. We can prioritize the areas that matter most, such as entrances and high-traffic areas, and schedule the rest over time to fit your budget.
Are Your Designs Water-Efficient?
Yes. We choose climate-appropriate plants and design irrigation to meet California's Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (MWELO).
Do You Work on Bioswales and Stormwater Areas?
Yes. We replant and repair bioswales and stormwater areas following their approved design, so soil, mulch and plant choices keep the feature working as engineered.
Are You Licensed for This Work?
Yes. Rubicon holds California C-27 landscape contractor licenses 1044063, 750715 and 633002 and is registered with the DIR for public works.
